Alpha Version Install Bug

Shareaza 2.5.3.0 (as well as any prior Shareaza version) installs only as an alpha version, which crashes and tries to report the crash and related bug as an email on every installation. The program will not open as it used to. Deleteing the program and a fresh reinstall results in the same forced alpha version trying to install. Is there a work around?

How do you know its an alpha version?

Release versions also report crashes.

Well, if it always tries to install the same version you have the installer for it some place on your hard drive. You could uninstall, search for executables and folders with Shareaza in the name and delete them, download the correct installer you want from the SourceForge, and install that. Basically, you seem to have something that is not getting properly uninstalled on your system, find and delete it, and your problem should vanish.
