Parsing error in 3_27 build

Postby vbjackson » 31 Mar 2011 02:21

I just installed the 3_27 build to fix the loss-of-connectivity issue in the 2.5.4.0 release.
While monitoring the network tab, I keep seeing the following message:
[21:07:15][G1]Shareza produced search packet above but cannot parse it back!
I would estimate that I am getting 30-40 per minute.
I am running Windows XP SP3(x86)

You have open searches? If you do some of them might have become corrupted, and Shareaza uses the corrupted data to produce search packets, but the packets then don't make any sense. Closing (and redoing) all the open searches might help if that is what is happening. In any case these are usually a sign of some data being corrupted somewhere.

It starts as soon as Shareaza connects to the network.
I currently connect to G1, G2, anf E2K.
I usually have 4-5 pending downloads, but I seldom close Shareaza with a search running.

Pending downloads also cause search packets. Is there a download that has no sources or do these only happen on start?
