beta's instead of daily builds?

I was reinstalling windows and of course also my favourite ShareAza.
The normal version is still 2.5.5.0 may 2011.

Because you always keep on improving Aza, I thought of installing a beta version.
Had fun in trying that previously.

But I can only find Alpha's, daily builds.
That is a little too risky for me, and I think full of debug code.

The number there is already 2.5.5.3, so I think there have been a number of beta's too?
Where can I find them?
Or do you advice to avoid them?

Thanks and keep on the good work !

The third decimal point (2.5.3.0, 2.5.4.0, 2.5.5.0) represents beta builds and the fourth represents significant changes in alpha(daily) builds. Stable versions(2.3, 2.4, 2.5 ) are rarely released and 1 year is not uncommon between beta builds, which is why they are usually listed on the homepage.

oh, and in case you are wondering, the last time the major version number was changed (from 1.x to 2.x) was 8 years ago when shareaza became open source. Unless there is a complete rewrite I doubt this number will ever change again
