Forget current verification changes filesize

While downloading some of my files, suddenly some of the downloaded chunks disappear.
I don`t know how you call it.
But normally, there is a green indicator of the downloaded parts of the file in progress tab.
This indicator changes into red. ( For the disappeared chunks )
But when trying to reverify in Properties
Forgot current verification and reverify
I got the message:
You have changed the Filesize ( But I did not )
When clicking all OK
I lost all sources ( and some chunks )
After that, the download starts from beginning and after a while, same happens again.
Maybe the file is spam, BUT i DID NOT CHANGE THE FILESIZE.
This happens for every file I try to download.
All files; when try to reverify, said I have changed the filesize.
I lost all sources.
But I did not change the filesize, sure.
And reverify does not start.

Updated to rev 9255
Doing a debug build-> change filesize error did not come up
Doing a release build-> change filesize error is comming up
Assuming the breakpoints will work.
They are not.
Can't access the code. ( Program is not beaking, the error is not there, but/and the values can not be checked )
Simply a user, not a developer. Anybody knows a guideline ?
Will try with release build again.
How to squeeze the App into code ?
Out of idea.

Also, it seems that finished files where not stored at the same location.
Finshing a file with debug build.
Trying to open with relaese build, can't find. Even a search does not find.

I am assuming that you're compiling Shareaza from its source code? If so, you might want to try to force the assertions even within the release build. I am reasonably sure there is a compiler switch for that somewhere.

Something went wrong.

But the real mysterious is, that the debug build brings not up the error.
Only Realease build does do it.

I encounter a similar bug with 2.6.0.0 32 bit running in Windows 8 Pro OS. I download a video file and am able to "Preview Partial File" successfully during download at different percentages complete---right up to 95+%--and partial downloaded file plays without problem establishing that the complete file is accumulating in the Incomplete Folder.
As soon as the download is 100%, the title in the Transfers tab turns red and the multi-Mb file is gone with only 4-10 kb left. A Search of the Incomplete Folder for the ed2k, sha1 and ttr IDs of the downloaded file finds nothing. Moving the completed, now "red", downloaded file to Library moves only the 4-10 kb file remnant. Hovering over the remnant n in Library brings up the little window with all the correct file properties--i.e. the correct name, ed2k , sha1 and ttr IDs, etc.
I have tried searching the computer, but the completed file is no where to be found. Only solution is to search for the file again and download it again, which usually happens without a repeat of the problem.
I hope this problem can be solved. A patch to fix the problem would be greatly appreciated.

Just select "copy URI" from the context menu of the download in Shareaza and send the text you get to raspopov via PM. Note that you might have to switch to Power Mode to enable to copy URI functionality (view menu).

I will do so next time it happens. I run in Power mode, so no problem. I can send screenshots if you can explain what you mean by send via "PM". I am a newbie to using forums, so I apologize if I ask inane questions.

I was able to retrieve the most recent occurrence from deleted files, and I have made a number of .png screenshots to answer your questions. I tried to attach the 3 .png screenshot files to this post one at a time, but they were rejected and I received this message: 'The image file you tried to attach is invalid '.
Please advise how to send this info to you.

PM means private message. You can use that feature via the small PM button on the right side of a user's post.
You could try uploading your images in a zip file on some file hosting service.

I am using the plain vanilla 32 bit version of 2.6.0.0, not SSE2 or 64 bit versions. I also found that the easiest way to send screen shots is to convert them to .pdf and send the .pdf's.
