BitTorrent files gone after upgrade to [2.5.0.0]?

I've just installed 2.5, and after almost 2 hours of converting (where shareaza did not respond nor displayed conversion progress) I could see, that all my BitTorrent-downloads where suddently completed. Shareaza now displays "Verifying" for all BT-downs, but it seems like nothing happens (no CPU-usage, no harddisk-grinding, nothing).

I can see that Shareaza has converted the old and large BT-temporaries into a lot of smaller chunks - but all of these chuncks are empty? I had an almost completed BT-download of ~20GB (wich has been downloading for MONTHS!), that has been converted into ~240 empty files. Please don't tell me, that it's gone? :cry:

//EDIT:

After restarting ShareAza all the files now have content. I suppose the emptyness of the chunks was due to the fact that files where locked exclusively to the shareaza process and therefore no other apps could see the contents of them. The "Verifying" problem was also solved by a restart and 2.5 seems to be working a treat now :-)

I think I've something related to your issue. I started downloading a torrent, then it "completed" saying "verifying" and nothing, no CPU usage, no disk usage. The green bar was there, indicating the file is partially verified. Then I restarted Shareaza and... boom, it restarted whole download! It "thinks" that it's an empty/new download. The thing that helped me was 'Assume the file is 100% complete and reverify'. Shareaza verified the file and downloaded some missing kilobytes and download completed and I'm happy ;).

Updating to v2.5.0.1 has been fixed. Downloads should not be lost anymore...
