Major types not recognised

Hello, i am unsure whether or not to file a bug or maybe something is just wrong with my machine. I am running the latest Shareaza, and in my Library and as well as when i search it doesn't recognise some major file types. For example MKV and OGV are not recognised as video. This is really annoying, now i do understand that so far there are no plugins to play these types within Shareaza, but they should at least be known to it to be video. The same for MKA and OGA being audio.

I'm not sure about mkv but support for ogv and oga has just been added recently (by me) and should be in the next version

Cyko, you add nothing. :-) There are no library plugins supporting ogv and oga extensions.

Shouldn't the media player work if you add the extensions to the list? It is Windows that handles the actual filter chain building, right? Similarly wouldn't the Windows thumbnail plug-in correctly produce thumbnails for any types recognized by Windows. And doesn't the library organizer use the same schemas that were just updated? Lots of questions... I do not really use any of Shareazas media plug-ins or the organizer so I am totally clueless about this stuff.
