Here you can find graphs on the G2 network: http://crawler.trillinux.org/

As over 99% of all Shareaza users connect to G2, those should be fairly accurate numbers for the Shareaza community, too. ;)

So the site states that: There are currently 185163 users on the G2 network. (by the time i saw it)

so there is 185 thousand people (aprox.) using shareaza?

really thought there was much more than that of users...

thanks 4 the reply anyway

No, this only means that at the moment, there are that many users online. However, in total there are much more users of Shareaza, it's only that not all of them are online at the same time.

There have been gnutella (1) crawlers in the past, however such a website/application requires much bandwidth and resources... Also, crawling gnutella is (AFAIK - correct me if I'm wrong) more complicated/resource consuming than a G2 one.
