New To Shareaza

okay, so right now i use Limewire P2P networks for my downloads, but i think its the cause for my brand new computer for being so slow now and especailly my internet conecction, do ya think that shareaza is gunna cause me the same kind of problems? cause then i really see no need for it.. no offence and all..

Actually shareaza has a lot more features than limewire(bloatware), plus is completely free.

Any P2P program will slow down your system if you download at high enough speeds and connect to enough peers. If set to high download/upload speeds, it will also(obviously) slow down your internet. To prevent that, you configure the software accordingly.

Also, if your habits on limewire haven't changed, I recommend running MBAM, Spybot, and Hijackthis(I can help you with the log, or you can post in Techsupportforums.com).


Would like to convert you to Shareaza(I have tried most P2P programs out there, and keep coming back to this one), but I would much prefer to help you solve your problems even if they are not actually related to limewire itself.
