Win7, shareaza 2.5.0.0 and windows live package

just got a new lap top pc with windows 7 home premium 64-bit, and i installed shareaza 2.5.0.0 and then went to the windows live site (http://download.live.com/) clicked the download button and it triggered shareaza to open. I had to uninstall shareaza then restart the PC so that it would function normally.

any other windows 7 64 bit users get the same result with shareaza 2.5.0.0 installed?

Just deactivate the webbrowser integration in the settings
This should solve your problem.
BTW, if you had just clicked on continue, Shareaza would have handled the download instead of Internet Explorer. This is a new feature - not a bug.

yeah, shareaza definatly needs to give the user more options during it's install process, features like this are really annoying for some users like myself...
