Shareaza hogs hard dsk space

I have noticed that Shareaza hogs a lot of hard disk space. I've just checked and it has over 200 GB of diskspace for the files that it is downloading. It would appear that Shareaza is not releasing its space automatically when the downloads are complete. This needs to be looked at. I can not devote 200 GB to Shareaza.

1) what version are you using? update to the latest version from http://shareaza.sourceforge.net NOT pantheraproject*net or shareaza*com
2) you may have a worm. look in your library/downloads folder to see if there are any suspicious files there. Also run a virus scan( you do have antivirus right? )
3) check your incompletes folder to see if there are files leftover. The location will be listed under tools > shareaza settings > downloads. If there are files there and you are not downloading any thing at the moment then you can delete whatever is there (you are correct, there should not be anything there)
