Import Incomplete Transfers?

Postby pinkfloydeffect » 02 Jun 2013 00:37

Is there a way to import the incomplete transfer files after Shareaza crashes on me? There is the .partial file and then the .sav file, dragging and dropping into transfers does not work and either does Tools>Import eMule partial downloads.

Any suggestions??

Simply rename the .sav to .sd and restart.

If Shareaza crashes, a bug report should be generated automatically. Have you submitted those?

As for the .sav files... Are you sure you weren't talking about .sd files? .partial contains the data, .sd contains the metadata of a download. .partial files without matching .sd files can be deleted to free space, BTW.

No I have not submitted because I can't read it myself therefor I don't know what kind of my data is being given out.

Sometimes when it crashes there are no matching pairs of files just .partial but my sav/sd files are always .partial.sav/sd I have tried adding a .sav or .sd to the partial files but it does not work.

On another note...I don't quite understand the discovery services. All I have figured out by messing with it is upon restart it works best if I delete them all and then start one by one and query them individually until I get through the entire list...I've tried advertising before query both ways not sure what the correct way of maximizing the connections and results are. Sometimes if it does not display any search I disconnect and reconnect and it works great and slowly trickles down to nothing.

Mail address?

Okay so what about file names and transfers? Is that data in the crash report? Maybe I want my Barry Manilow taste to be private haha (just kidding)

So if they yield no hosts chances are they will never tomorrow or in the future?? Deleting too many at once crashes Shareaza so does query too many at once.

Thanks OldDeath! :D

Most caches that yield no hosts are broken in one way or another...
