==Présentation de Shareaza.==

A peine sorti en version publique, Shareaza faisait déjà l'unanimité dans la communauté Gnutella. Lorsque l'on voit la somme des fonctions explorées en premier par le logiciel australien, on a peine à croire que les développeurs n'aient pas inclus de spyware, de publicité ou n'aient pas prévu de version payante.
Et pourtant ! On peut lire dans la FAQ du logiciel : "Shareaza ne contient aucun spyware. Il est gratuit parce que nous pensons que ce genre de logiciel devrait être gratuit."

L'interface de Shareaza, sans être cependant un modèle de simplicité, est tout de suite exploitable par n'importe quel utilisateur.
Attention toutefois, une version "fenêtrée" de l'interface est proposée lors du premier lancement du logiciel, et celle-ci se veut réservée aux utilisateurs avertis tant les options visibles sont plus nombreuses et complexes.

Côté recherche, il s'agit sans doute de la meilleure existant à l'heure actuelle. C'est bien simple, tout est indiqué. Outre les mentions traditionnelles (nom du fichier, type, taille, durée, etc.), Shareaza ajoute un lot d'informations très intéressantes.
Il est ainsi possible de connaître la qualité des sources à travers différents critères : présence d'un firewall, stabilité, nombre de sources, vitesse de transfert évaluée, client Gnutella utilisé. Si vous devez quitter votre poste sans avoir eu le temps de lancer votre téléchargement, une fonctionnalité unique sauve maintenant automatiquement les recherches en cours, avec toutes leurs options (filtres, critères de sélection...).

On apprécie également le graphique des téléchargements qui indique quels sont les fragments de fichiers déjà téléchargés.
Malheureusement, même s'il est détachable, la fenêtre reste bien trop grosse pour être exploitable en "always-on-top".

Question fonctionnalités, Shareaza a tout, depuis le "multi-sourcing" jusqu'au "hashing" des fichiers, en passant par l'intégration des URL de téléchargement ou le filtrage des résultats. Seuls lui manquent un lecteur multimédia mieux intégré et un chat public.

Finalement, très proche de LimeWire dans ses fonctionnalités, Shareaza possède quelques atouts de taille pour le remplacer dans le coeur des utilisateurs. Il est en tout cas sur la bonne voie pour le faire.

Service Pack 2 is een set met updates voor Windows XP, omdat Microsoft een hoop beveiligingsproblemen in Windows uit de wereld wilde helpen. XP SP2 is dus iets veiliger dan oudere versies van Windows, en het is zeker aangeraden om up te daten naar SP2 (zeker als je nog Internet Explorer gebruikt, in plaats van een alternatieve browser). Meer beveiliging is altijd een goeie zaak, maar in 1 geval is Microsoft iets te ver gegaan, en kan het de prestaties van Shareaza behoorlijk verminderen.

===Wat is het probleem met SP2 nu eigenlijk?===
Met SP2 kan het systeem maar 10 ''half-geopende'' verbindingen naar buiten maken. Dit betekent dat als het systeem geinfecteerd is door een worm (type [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blaster_worm Blaster]), het verspreiden van de worm veel trager gaat dan vroeger.

Een half-open verbinding betekent: een verbinding die naar buiten gaat zonder dat er al een antwoord is gekregen van de andere kant. Dus een verbinding is half-open in de tijd dat je bijvoorbeeld in je browser het adres van deze pagina ingetikt hebt, tot de tijd dat je antwoord gekregen hebt. In sommige gevallen is deze tijd 30 seconden lang. Dus als je tegelijk 11 webpagina's in zou tikken in je browser, zit je aan de limiet..

Indien de limiet bereikt wordt, zal Windows je niet meer toelaten om nieuwe verbindingen te maken voor een bepaalde tijd, en zal je het 'Event ID 4226' in je logs vinden. (Kijk of je het vindt: rechtsklikken op 'deze computer', selecteer 'beheren', computerbeheer(lokaal)>systeemwerkset>logboeken>Systeem . Daar kan je elke keer de limiet bereikt is, een fout zien voor 'tcpip' met als ID 4226).

De problemen komen dus als je een programma gebruikt dat gelijktijdig veel verbindingen naar buitenaf moet maken, zoals P2P-programma's als Shareaza. De ontwikkelaars van Shareaza hebben geprobeerd om te zorgen dat , indien je xp sp2 hebt , je die limiet zelden bereikt, maar daar betaal je wel een prijs voor: je zal minder snel kunnen verbinden en downloaden. En indien je de limiet toch bereikt (want dat kan altijd gebeuren doordat Shareaza niet alle variabelen in de hand heeft), zal het lijken alsof je nooit kan verbinden met de netwerken.

===Wat kan ik eraan doen?===
Zorg er in elk geval voor dat je steeds '''de recentste versie''' van Shareaza draait. Vergelijk het versienummer vanop de shareaza.com met de versie in Hulp>Over Shareaza... . Indien je de laatste versie hebt, en je merkt dat je geen last hebt van de limiet (je vindt geen spoor van Event ID 4226 in je systeem log), dan is er geen probleem. Indien je wel problemen hebt, lees verder:

Er bestaat een ''patch'', die je toelaat om het aantal verbindingen te verhogen, zodat je ''toch'' sneller kan downloaden.
~~#FF0000:Let op: deze patch is niet gemaakt of getest door de ontwikkelaars van Shareaza. Deze patch wijzigt een systeembestand, en dit houdt een zeker risico in.~~

je downloadt het bestand, unzipt het ergens, scant de patch met een virusscanner en je draait "EvID4226Patch.exe".
Je volgt dan gewoon de instructies (Y, Y, wacht 15 seconden, Y). Indien Windows je waarschuwt tijdens die 15 seconden dat een belangrijk systeembestand gewijzigd werd, moet je dit toelaten.

Als je dat gedaan hebt, herstart je je computer.

Enkele wijzigingen die je dan achteraf in Shareaza kan doen:

Le ''"Service Pack 2"'' de Windows XP© limite le nombre de connexions simultanées, et cela pose beaucoup de problème à shareaza et aux logiciels P2P en générale.

La dernière version de shareaza (2.2.1.0) détecte le SP2 lors de son installation, où via l'assistant de configuration si la version est déja installée lors du passage à la SP2. Cette detection modifira certains paramètres en vue d'une amélioration et d'une meilleure stabilité de shareaza.

Vous pouvez télécharger la dernière version de shareaza, sur l'espace de [http://www.ratiatum.com/logitheque.php?id_log=98 téléchargement de ratiatum] où depuis le [http://www.shareaza.com/?id=download site officiel]

Lors de l'installation, l'assistant de configuration fera apparaitre une confirmation de la détection du SP2.

Note : Les utilisateurs de Windows XP© SP2 peuvent rencontrer de réelles difficultés pour se connecter à plusieurs réseaux. En règle générale, mieux vaut s'en tenir aux réglages par défaut. La plupart des utilisateurs s'aperçevrons que se connecter à plus de deux réseaux occasionnera des problèmes. Faites attention à quels réseaux vous avez l'intention de vous connecter.

Si vous ne souhaitez pas patcher votre système, assurez vous que l'option avencée '''"connection.slowConnect" ''' est à 1 (true).
Il faut être en mode expert (power mode) pour pouvoir avoir accès aux réglages avancés (Vue>mode expert).

Sinon, il existe un patch qui permet d'augmenter la limite imposée par le SP2. Beaucoup d'utilisateurs y ont trouvé satisfaction, d'autres non. Patcher votre système vous retire le droit d'avoir recourt à l'assistance de microsoft en cas de dysfonctionnement de votre système d'exploitation. Modifier les fichiers système peut être nocif à votre système, si cela est mal fait.

* Gnutella.ConnectFactor : 4 ou 5 pour améliorer la vitesse de connexion. (bas débit : 3)
* Downloads.ConnectThrottle : 250 - 500, selon votre connexion. (Si vous avez des problèmes de routeur, augmenter cette valeur.)
* Downloads.MaxFileSearches : entre 1 et 4. (1 pour du bas débit, 3 pour du haut débit.)

Der Browser muss Cookie aktzepieren. Das eifnachste ist einfach Cookies zu aktivieren. Wenn du Mozilla benutzt, kannst du das über "Tools->Cookie Manager" und dann "allow cookies from this site" und dann versuch es noch einmal.

Jetzt wird ein Fenster erscheinen welches dich nach Username und Passwort fragt. Diese müssen korrekt eingegeben werden, bevor fortgefahren werden kann. Nach dem du die LogIn Daten korrekt eingegeben hast, kommt ein Fenster mit 5 Tabs:Home, Suchen, Downloads, Uploads, Netzwerk. Auf den Seiten: Downloads,Uploads & Netzwerk findest du ein "Seite aktualisieren" Link. Dies wird die Informationen auf der Seite erneuern.

Das Home Tab, besitzt Links zu den andern Tabs. Außerdem kannst du von ihr direkt Suchen oder einen Link für einen Download in die Magnetbox eintragen. Du kannst hier nicht nur Magnets sondern auch andere Typen eintragen(http oder ftp).

Du kannst eine einfache Suche von diesem Tab machen. Einfach ein paar Begriffe eingeben, Optionall kannst auch noch den Typ der Datei mit angeben. und Shareaza durchsucht alle Verbundenen Netztwerke. Die Ergebnisse erscheinen in einem eigenem Tab. Um ein Download zu starten, genügt ein Klick auf das Gewünschte Ergebniss. Die Suche unterstützt auch Filterung wie z.B. "Hund" wird nur Datein mit Hund finden, währende "-Hund" alle Dateien mit Hund aussortiert.

==Download==

Dieses Menu zeigt alle deine aktuellen Downloads an. Du kannst jeden einzelnen Download anhalten, pausieren, löschen oder Shareaza darum bitten mehr Wuellen zu finden. Mit der Filteroption kannst du die e#anzeige anpassen.

==Uploads==

Alle Uploads in jeder deiner Warteschlangen wird hier angezeigt. Neben den Warteschlangen findest du +/- Knöpfe, mit denn du das Fenster erweitern kannst, um inviduelle Empfänger zu betrachten. Über den X-Knopf kannst du Uploads abbrechen. Es ist aber nicht empfehlenswert, aktive Uploads abzubrechen

In a web browser, enter the ip address and port of the Shareaza to which you wish to log on.

It is necessary for the browser to accept a cookie from the remote computer you are trying to access. The easiest way to do this is to enable cookies on your browser. The verification process is an important part of making sure the file you end up with is identical to the file you started downloading. This is a protection against accidental or deliberate corruption of files, which is a big problem on some other networks. We'll spare you the technical details, but basicly Shareaza uses a mathematical formula on the file which produces a so-called 'hash' (example: 7XPUCROFSODWBJVO645DJ42I6CKKB2ZX). Algunas descargas reciben partes que ya tienes descargadas (ej: esta en 99.7% y entonces va de nuevo a 95.1%). No es un bug. Se llama sliphashing.

Sliphashing ocurre cuando descargas una parte del archivo que no coincide con el de otra fuente o el hash es diferente.

Es decir sucede cuando el pedazo recibido es corrupto. Esto sucede en Kazaa y otros programas, causando baches en películas, o saltos en canciones. El hashing avanzado de Shareaza asegura que éste no dañará el archivo.
Además esto puede que ocurra intencionalmente, ¿por qué? ¿cómo?, un programa que se conecte a la red y diga que tiene ese archivo y envía datos incorrectos, esto lo hacen varias 'empresas' si así se puede decir, más bien instituciones, que intentan evitar la descarga de archivos con copyright.

Più scarichi, più la percentuale del download cresce. Per assicurarsi di non ricevere parti corrotte, Shareaza controlla l'hash di ogni bit scaricato e rileva le parti corrotte. The more you download, the more your download percentage grows. To make sure you don't get corrupt chunks, Shareaza makes a hash check for every bit downloaded and will detect bad chunks. If Shareaza finds a corrupt chunk, it will delete it and try to download that part again. The deletion of the bad chunk will cause the download percentage to go down a bit.

There is a verification line at the bottom of the progress bar, which shows the current verification status. The green parts have been found to be correct. If you get red parts on this line, then Shareaza has detected bad chunks and will redownload them.

Of course. Shareaza makes sure that the download is good before finishing and automatically re-downloads bad chunks. Kazaa, and similar software, do not do this, resulting in numerous corrupt downloads. It's possible that Shareaza downloads the same corrupt parts from the same source again and again. Also you might want to add a ban for the offending IP in the security window (type F7).

*Seu endereço de Ip externo (público) é 83.15.x.53
*Você roda o Shareaza em sua porta padrão, 6346

We have noticed that an increasing number of users seem to be in a situation where they are using two routers chained after each other. This is a situation that makes configuring the routers for Shareaza quite a challenge, as you have to set up two devices, make sure they don't conflict with each other's DHCP settings, etc.

Chaining two routers after each other is not a recommended situation, for a few reasons. The biggest reason being that setting up a network like that isn't something the average user can do without encountering serious problems.

However, there are some reasons why you might want to do this:
*Your modem uses NAT (which means it's essentially a combination of modem/router) and only has one or two ports, which isn't the sufficient amount for your network.
*You ran out of ports on your first router, and bought another one (with or without wireless internet).

===Solutions===
====Avoid buying a second router in the first place====
Instead, look into buying a hub,switch or access point. (All three have the same functionality, as far as this guide is concerned). Or, replace your old router with a new one with more ports.
This might not be such a good idea financially, though:
*in the case of access points, they're usually just as or more expensive than wireless routers
*You might consider buying a router so you can easily replace your old one if it dies
So, the next solution might be attractive:

====Use your router as a hub====
This is possible, at least with some models (Linksys WRT54G family, Netgear WGR614v2, ...), to use them as a hub, instead of as a router. Potrebbe volerci un po' per questa operazione perchè Shareaza ricalcola l'hash per i file. A volte ci possono essere dei problemi durante lo spostamento. Sono spesso causati se l'utente usa la stessa cartella per i file incompleti e completi (quindi non farlo : assicurati che in Opzioni di Shareaza --> internet --> downloads siano specificate 2 cartelle esistenti e diverse). Se non è questo il tuo caso prova queste soluzioni: ua dovrebbe funzionare per te. La lista va dalla più facile e più sicura fino alla più difficile e rischiosa. This is riskier than the last step. In Shareaza go to the transfers tab, and pass your mouse over the download and examine the box that should pop up. Note that the file should have one or several identifying hashes (which start with ed2k, SHA-1 or BTIH).

Was the download a BitTorrent download (they have a BTIH hash)? If it is a BitTorrent download how to proceed depends on whether the BitTorrent was a single file torrent download or a multi-file (or batch) torrent download. In Shareaza, go to the view menu and change to power mode. In the transfers tab or downloads window click on the download and view torrent info. If there is one file in the listing, it is a single file bit-torrent download. If there is more than one file, then you have a batch torrent download. You can also check to see if a torrent is a batch or single file torrent by using [http://torrentspy.sourceforge.net/ Torrentspy]. Batch torrents will have a "files" (note the plural) entry in the info section of the .torrent file, single file torrents do not.

Assuming the download was a single file torrent download, quit Shareaza and open windows explorer. Navigate to the incomplete directory. You should see your incomplete download and an associated small sd file with the same name (Shareaza data file). You don't need the sd file now, so you can toss it away. Note that the incomplete download should have an extension, if it doesn't have an extension, probably the download was a multi-file torrent. (*Windows sometimes doesn't display known file extensions -- see the folder options control panel or start menu item in Windows.) Move the incomplete download to the completed files folder.

Assuming the download was a batch or multi-file torrent you will need to do some more work (:neutral:), and use yet another program (:twisted:). For either type of torrent download please try to reseed the torrent download. If reseeding fails the download may have a corruption. You can likely fix this corruption by opening the .torrent file and the files recovered from the Shareaza incomplete directory in another bit-torrent program, such as Burst! or Azureus or ABC. These programs will only redownload the corrupt bits this is explained the the link to the shareaza forum thread on the subject in the paragraph just above.

If the stuck download wasn't a BitTorrent download, first note the file's (SHA-1 or ed2k) hash. This hash can be seen if while in the transfers screen or downloads window you pass the mouse over the download and in the pop-up window that comes up, noting the hash value(s). Quit Shareaza and move the download from the incomplete to the completed files folder and restart. You can throw away the small sd file that accompanies the download. Restart Shareaza. In the shareaza library your download should appear in the completed files folder (the 'downloads' folder). Note the file's hash -- it should match that appropriate hash which you had earlier recorded. If it doesn't match the file is quite possibly corrupt.
