Hi Old Death!
Sory ODy I was totally out, now I am to revise polish translation of Shareaza before anything else, and from fresh file to eliminate corrupts. So untill then I will not make any proger in above most probably. Here you can select skins to change Shareaza's user interface. You can even select multiple skins at the same time, but this will only work properly if these skins change different parts of the program. Like if you have a skin that only changes the Bandwidth monitor, you can also have a skin that changes the rest of the program.

This page is there to give an overview over the different ways of changing the GUI (graphical user interface) of Shareaza.

= Languages =
Shareaza has been [[translate]]d into more than 30 languages by the community. Languages are stored in [[skinning|skin]] files, similar to the skin files that can be used to change the look and feel of the application. There is a question I can't find good rule. Example is name of "magnet link". Wheather "Magnetlink" or "MagnetLink" or just "Magnet". I am pretty sure there will be some cases when 2 or more words should be written together as describe something, a term or conception, just better.

Mike (aka Michael Stokes) był głównym twórcą i programistą Shareazy. Był jedynym prawdziwym programistą i projektantem Shareazy aż podjął decyzję, aby uczynić Shareazę open source w ramach licencji [GPL http://www.fsf.org/licensing/licenses/gpl.html]. Teraz z powodu jego wielkiej decyzji nie musi spełniać wielu żądań jakie mają użytkownicy Shareazy. Obecnie mieszka w Australii. This a more sophisticated project suited for computer science students etc. There are some issues with the HTTP protocol currently in use.
* It doesn't allow Firewall to Firewall transfers because it is TCP based.
* It is not possible to cancel a transfer while while data is being transmitted without simply closing the connection.
* Therefore it is necessary to request small chunks of data which is inefficient.
The goal of this project is to implement an UDP based protocol that fixes these issues. There is also a writeup by Mike on that topic. Unfortunately I can't access it at the moment because the forum is down. Shareaza's support for the original gnutella protocol is pretty much out of date. The goal of this project is to change that. The current MediaPlayer Plugin of v2.4 and previous versions had two problems:

So that's why it has been rewritten from scratch by Ryo-oh-ki/raspopov. But as he didn't have much time, he only coded the basics, so things like audio visualization and parts of the partial files preview mechanisms are still missing on the plugin. Your task is now to finish the rewrite the MediaPlayer plugin. Doing this requires some knowledge about Shareaza Plugins in general, as well as knowledge about Micosoft multimedia APIs ([http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/directshow/htm/directshow.asp DirectShow]).
