Motivation
This template inserts an equal sign ('=') into a Wiki page. This is especially important as templates don't allow to use equal signs within their parameters without breaking the template, as equal signs are part of the Wiki syntax. Equal signs are used to connect a parameter value with its name within a template (as parameters can also be named instead of just using them in the same order every time).
