SMC7004A Wireless Broadband Router
Step 1 Log into your router.
- Open your webbrowser and go to http://192.168.123.1.
- Enter your password for the router. If it is set at the default password, it is suggested you change it for security.

Step 2 Give your computer a static IP address.
- Click on "DHCP Server"
- Click on the button labelled "Fixed Mapping..."

- Check the box labelled "MAC Address Control" and leave that as the only checked box on that page.
- Find your computer in the DHCP-Clients list. Select ID 1 (Or the first empty ID).
- Click on the button labelled "Copy to."
- Take note of the IP address of your computer.

Step 3 Foward the ports to your computer.
- Click on "Virtual Server."
- Enter the port Shareaza uses in the first empty box of the "Service Ports" column.
- Enter your computer's IP Address in the box of the row of the port under the "Server IP" column.
- Check the box to the right under the "Enable" column
- Press the "Save" button and then the "Reboot" button.
- Your computer will disconnect from the internet as the router is rebooting.
