Ghost Ratings

Ghost ratings show up in search with a red slash icon under the "Rating" column where the yellow stars are usually located. Check the "Details" panel under User Comments to see what comments the user has left. If they say "Dangerous/Misleading" then proceed with caution. If they say the file contains a virus, then you should probably not download it. But some users may mislabel files so it is just a guide.

When you delete a file from within Shareaza it will ask you to give the file an optional rating and an optional comment. If you do either then you have created a ghost rating. When other people search for that file they will see your comments and know to avoid the file.
