Shareaza is not actually sending email. Some firewalls (such as ZoneAlarm) and some antivirus packages (such as Avast) monitor every port used. Port 25 is commonly used by SMTP servers for email. Shareaza has the ability to use a random port every time it is started or the port can be chosen by the user. When you connect to somebody who uses port 25 it is detected by these applications, which think that Shareaza is sending email. This is a bug which lies within these applications and this very common false alarm is generated by ZoneAlarm. It is because of these applications' inability to distinguish email traffic from regular internet traffic, which many other firewalls already do. Complain to ZoneLabs about it, if you like.
The problem more than likely doesn't exist on your computer. These programs think Shareaza is sending email because it is connecting to other network users who are using port 25.
