General error messages
Most error messages you see are caused by conflicts with other software. If you see a lot of errors, it might be worth cleaning out your machine. Run a virus scan and a scandisk, then use a SpyWare scanner to check your system, and clear out any nasty programs that might be causing problems.
You can also try typing the error message into Google and searching for it- this will often uncover useful information.
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be terminated
This is a general Windows error letting you know that something really bad has happened. Of course, it isn't really a very informative message. Again, it's often caused by conflicting software, so try disabling other applications and see if you can find the cause. If it happens on a regular basis, and does not seem to be triggered by other applications, you might need to capture a DrWatson log to help identify what is going wrong. You should create a log of the problem, zip it, and post it on the appropriate forum.
troubleshooting
Try turning off the Shareaza plugins.
Try renaming your incomplete and completed files folder and deleting the library1.dat library2.dat and tigerTree.dat files in the Shareaza's directory. Shareaza may be crashing due to a specific file in one of those folders. If Shareaza starts up after doing this, then you can try figuring out which file was causing the trouble, by, for example, replacing your incomplete files into the incomplete folder a few at a time, and restarting Shareaza, or resharing several of your directories and checking to see if Shareaza would crash.
