You can use built-in Shareaza IRC client (press F12 in Shareaza to display it) or java applet located on above mentioned site or any other suitable for you IRC client (eg. FireFox with ChatZilla plug-in).

Most important for users page of the project is the download page located here: http://shareaza.sourceforge.net/?id=download. For security reasons (like Fakeaza, malware installer pretending original Shareaza and others threats), we strongly recommend and insist on downloading Shareaza from this site, and not any 3rd party site, at last unless you become the experienced user aware why download from other location (eg. daily debug builds for beta testing).
