What is Shareaza ?

Shareaza is the most feature-rich and sophisticated file sharing program on Earth, giving you access to countless types of digital media and other files. It can connect to up to 4 separate Peer to Peer networks- Gnutella2, BitTorrent, eDonkey2000 and Gnutella. Not only that, but Shareaza is completely free and doesn't show annoying ads. It also doesn't install unwanted 3rd party programs that slow your computer down. No spyware, no registration. Just download and use.

Search:

• Multiple simultaneous searches:

Run an unlimited number of simultaneous searches on three independent networks.

• Multiple search results tabs:

Each search you perform is displayed in a new window. This means that your search results won’t be overwritten by each new search you perform. You can switch between the search result windows by clicking on the tabs at the top of the current search results window. Once you are finished with the results of a search, just click 'X' on the search tab to close it.

• Search the whole network:

With Shareaza you can search the entire network, not just a part of it. You also don't have to press "More" buttons. All available results will come in automatically.

• Easy plain text search and type based search:

Shareaza allows you to do quick searches as well as searches based on file type- searches which will only present you the sort of file you want. For example, you can search for music, and automatically filter out spam-results.

• Preview, users comments and ratings in searches:

Shareaza offers image and movie previews right from the search panel. It also shows comments and ratings written by other people- So you can see how good a file is before you get it.

• Extensive Metadata info on every file:

Shareaza tells you about the bitrate or the video resolution directly from the search tab. You can also search on name, artist, category, publisher, director, or anything else.
