Can Not Connect To Networks!

Postby pinkfloydeffect » 30 Aug 2012 22:34

When I start Shareaza it connects to 7 or 8 networks then drops down to 1 and flickers 2. I have my windows firewall set to allow Shareaza to pass through it, I have even tried connecting with the firewall completely turned off. Can anyone guide me in the right direction the FAQ did not help me.

My routers setup page lists a UPnP tab but there is not much to do there/values to change?

Thanks

First: Shareaza doesn't even support connecting to 7 or 8 networks; I assume you mean neighbours instead.

Second: Do you pass the connection test from the help menu?

Yes I pass the connection test, I figured it out...or at least made it a little better now I stay connected to 3 neighbors. I went to the discovery services and only 1 or 2 lines would have accesses and failures the rest are blocked or "0 - Never" so I right clicked on every single line with a "0 - Never" one by one and clicked Query Now until they were all accessed. Is this a correct thing to do? Any way to ensure I'm connected to every network?

*ALSO* can anyone tell me how to block IPs from certain countries? So that particular countries can not download from me? Right now I just monitor the uploads and block that country one by one as I see them. Thanks!

This does not work for me, I pass all connection tests, Discovery.EnableG1GWC is true/enabled and G2 connects along with eDonkey but G1 & DC++ do not connect. I have "connected" everything in the Host Cache (only says eDonkey though) I also Query all the links in the discovery services... why won't they connect?!

All of a sudden I can no longer connect to any of the networks. It worked fine yesterday but today it's impossible i tried and passed the connection test from the help menu. Also when I check the network tab it seems like all connections timeout with in one (1) second.
I scanned the PC for viruses using McAfee and fond no threats.

Anyone that can help me with this problem?

Edit : Update, Now the program say I'm connected to one neighbour, But at the same time it say that it trying to connect to all networks, What's happening?

Update 2, No again it say that I'm not connected but still someone is able to load files from me, Strange.... :?

Update 3, Now I can download, But still the program say I'm not connected, Why???? :? :?
I'm starting to think that there must be some "bad" program on my PC that directs me trough some computer/computers on the way to the Gnutella network, Anyone who have any idea what may have happened?
Please help me.
