Try 2.7.0.0 and hit F9 -> rightclick some services with query now and check the connection test in help-menu

I am currently having this problem, I have installed 2.7.1, I have tried reinstalling and rebooting. I have tried the most current debug program.......shareaza just won't connect to gnutella 2. I selected edonkey for a server and connect to 1 nieghbor....which frankly was useless and had nothing on it.

please help, is gnutella 2 down, or is it a bug or virus on my end....I have been scanning for spyware etc. to see if that helps but still nothing.

Have you tried manually querying GWCs?

Queries will cause an external service to be queried and as a result Shareaza to obtain a list of new network IPs to connect to. These IPs will show up in the Host Cache window and can then be connected to. Which you can also do manually, BTW.

Check out another part.
After quering some GWC open Hostcache (F8) choose G2Cache at bottom. Do you have some Hubs ?
Open Neighbours (ctrl-F11). Do you try connecting East Asian Hubs ?

Ok, I have tried to query:

http://cache.ce3c.be/
http:trillinux.or/dkac/dkac.php
http://beacon.numberzero.org/gwc.php
http://tenafly5k.com/gwc/skulls.php
http://cache.trillinux.org/g2/bazooka.php
http://htmlhell.com/
http://gwc.dyndns.info:28960/gwc.php

these are petty much all the GWebCache that show up on top of this I have 3 server.met that show up on this list and a whole bunch of blocked gwc.

When I <ctrl F11> I see this:
Discovery service "http://gwc.dyndns.info:2896ogwc.php" failed, fail count 1
Discovery service "http://dkac.trillinux.org/dkac/dkac.php" failed, fail count 1
unaable to resolve host "yin.cloud.bishopston.net".

Have you tried the connection test to check whether Shareaza is able to connect properly before using the discovery services?

Note that you can get a larger list of services by running the installer again and selecting the option to reset discovery and host cache.

Results
TCP: The TCP connection has been accepted by your computer and the request has been answered. This means that other clients from the networks can properly connect to you.
UDP: An answer has been received from your client! This means that Shareaza is able to receive UDP packets from the network.
Congratulations, everything seems to be fine and Shareaza should work properly.

I'm almost certain it is adware or spyware that has installed on my computer, however, I'm unable to clear whatever it is causing the connection issues. I was just hoping someone else would have some Ideas that I haven't tried.
