UDP connectivity issue

Lately I'm getting UDP timeouts in the connection test, though TCP works fine. This is without any config changes at my end. But I've tried:

* Recreating the forwarding rule in my router.
* Recreating it as separate TCP and UDP rules instead of one combined rule.
* Turning off Windows Firewall.
* Turning off Avast! personal antivirus.

None affected it: TCP forwarding working, UDP no response.

I seem to be able to search and download ok with it in this state, but I still don't like there being a caution light on my dashboard even if things seem to be working fine otherwise.

What else could be influencing UDP reachability, besides AV, firewall, and router?

Reading all your posts about network issues past several months I assume that you have very bad Internet connection. Try getting help from your ISP, replace your router on a new one i.e. do something real...

raspopov is probably right, replace your crappy router and double check YOUR end. And please DON'T blame Shareaza when you have issues and you're not sure about YOUR connection.

i'm not getting any freezes because i'm not fully connected to G1. it only happen when i'm having too much search tab open or running and browsing a bit too much people (or when a huge amount of ed2k result on one search are coming) which is for sure something that didn't happen before (that means a long time ago, pre 2.2 version???)
