Hubs and Leaves are zero

Postby oldgray » 17 Nov 2009 00:32

I upgraded to Shareaza 2.5. When i try to connect the program says I am connected. However, when I start a search for a program that is popular ie Quicken, the hob and leaves counts are zero and notning is found. I did run the connection test and the message that cae back said the connection was ok.

Does anyone else have this problem and if so how did you solve it?

TIA

As a last resort i reinstalled the program and the problem seems to be fixed. Not sure what happened with the original upgrade.

Sorry for the this post.

I just opened Shareaza and restarted the search. It appears that I am encountering the original problem. I am doing four different searches and "Searching" shows 0 hubs and 0 leaves for all searches. Can anyone tell me what has caused the original problem to reappear? I am really stumped. I thought i was ok after the reinstall.

What are the results of the connection test?

The basic problem is that all the G2 hubs in your host cache are bad. So when Shareaza tries to do a search none of the hubs it tries to connect to answers. (Alternately you might be behind a firewall blocking Shareaza, the connection test old death suggested will tell you if that is the case.) Clear your host cache and query a web cache in the discovery services.
