[BUG] Scheduler

Postby siavoshkc » 25 Nov 2009 16:01

When Scheduler is on and we are in "Do not connect" time it should not try to connect. But it does and after being unsuccessful (Because my modem is off), gives a message that says "Shareaza could not connect and stopped trying to avoid losing sources" or something like that. Worse of all it turns all download to "Queued". So when its time to connect it connects but won't start download because all are queued.

I think those "Queued" are checked by Shareaza if they have sources every X minutes, when X is set in settings. So they will be checked for soures and will start download. However X default is as I remember 60? What you are afraid refers more to "paused" status I think.

Probably a bug in the automatic connection check. (Not being disabled when scheduled to not connect, the bug could be in how scheduler does not connecting, as well.) IIRC, you can turn the connection check off in the settings. Try going to advanced settings and turning Connection.DetectConnectionLoss to FALSE (0).

It is really a big problem for me because although it connects it doesn't download anything for even 4 hours because all downloads are Queued.
If I disable DetectConnectionLoss, Shareaza wont try to connect to network when I am not connected, am I right?
