Newbie needs help - want to stop hashing notification pop up

Hi gang,

I can't seem to work out how to turn off the ' Shareaza is creating hashes.....' message that pops up when a download is done.

It is annoying when i am watching a movie and this message interupts the screen.

Is there any way to turn off this on screen message?

Appreciate any help or advice.

I have the latest version of Shareaza.

yes, you can, but first you need to put shareaza in power mode(select "power mode" from the view menu) . Then go to Tools > shareaza settings > advanced find the setting "Library.HashWindow", select it, and set the value to "0". Click ok to apply the new setting. You can change back to normal mode again if you wish by selecting "Normal Mode" from the view menu.

You can just click on it to stop pop up.

we could put a little X button in the top corner and that would hide it for the session only. If they want to hide it permanently they can do that through advanced settings
