Postby kerberrry » 14 Jul 2010 00:38

A friend told me about this site, *censored*. I cant understand how it works. I typed in a name of a movie to search and over 200 show up such as *censored* or *censored*. Which one do I pick?? I picked one and it took 2 hours to download 10% of it. I have DSL that is the fastest package with ATT. What am I doing wrong? someone please help me. thanks

Why not asking her(your friend) nicely to come over and help you?

In order to increase download speeds, check whether you pass the connection test, which can be found in the help menu. If you don't, see our wiki (the link can be found on the first page of our forum) for more information on how to configure your firewall/NAT/router.

sort your search results by the host/count column so the highest numbers are at the top. the best files will usually show up in the first 5 results - select the one with the most actual sources (ignore the ones like 186.158.***.15+103 ). You should also pay attention to the rating a file has. if many people have given it a high rating then it is probably good.

I agree, ratings are a good idea, but they seem to be mostly used by spammers. Either to give a five-star rating to what they want to fool you to download or to mark the file as spam with a helpful message advertising something they probably make money from.
