You're probably using a router and your ports aren't forwarded.

You''ll have to redirect the port from your router to the PC.

About incomplete files, incomplete folder in Shareaza options is probably different from its previous location.

Check your router manual and look for the NAT (Network Address Translation) section. If you can't find anything, you can try some specialized pages in your language. If you can't find anything, at least we'll need the model and manufacturer of your router to help.

Take a look at PortForward.com. You'll need to find the page that corresponds to the brand and model number of your router (it should be written somewhere on your router box or on your modem if it has a build-in router). Then follow the instructions for Shareaza. And don't forget to re-enable your Windows firewall for security reasons, as long as it has an exception for Shareaza, the problem is almost certainly about the router, not the firewall. Also, for the sake of whomever you want, do install an antivirus! There are free versions out there that do a pretty decent job like Avast or Immunet.

Firstly, you need to identify the brand and the model of your router. Like I said, it's certainly shown on your router or modem if it has a built-in router. As an example, let's suppose your router is a Netgear WGR614v9 and you wrote down this information on piece of paper. Then you should go to http://portforward.com/english/routers/ ... rindex.htm and find the corresponding link (the sorting is alphabetical), which will lead you to that page. There, look for "Shareaza", which will get you on this page where you'll need to follow the instructions.

So, you need to find the brand and the model information of your router to begin with these settings. Just follow the cable that handles your Internet connection to get your hands on it ;)
