help with shareaza

I'm new to this, I downloaded 2 videos from shareaza. One as a avi file the other flv. I can play the avi file in windows player but not the flv. How do I fix this?

also need help with burning these to a dvd. i tried the avi file and it burned the dics. I can watch on the cpu but not the blue ray player. it does support the rw disc. Please help.

since 99% of "movies" are copyrighted we will play it safe and only discuss "video" files in general - for example a home movie.

In Shareaza settings you can set any player to be used by Shareaza instead of built in one. This does not limit feature thanks to modularity of Shareaza. You can test many and choose which you like. You can also set there VLC. Set mean to go menu>tools>settings>mediaplayer and then in box with dropdown list point and set path to any another player.
