Search strings

Hi,

I have not found a guide which explains what Shareaza Search strings and Booleans are available.

"John Smith"

John AND Smith

John OR Smith

And so on.

Advice would be appreciated.

Boolean operands are unavailable. But you can use "-" to provide negative keywords during G2 searches or later in any filter.

Is it possible to use quoted searches in any way e.g.

"John Smith"

including the space in the middle?

These are all G2 only but you can use them in the filter box at the bottom as well to narrow down the results you receive from other networks

May I suggest that they could both be usefully provided within a Search Tips addition to the Shareaza Help drop-down menu?
