Windows search issue

I didn't search much to see it it had been pointed out. I just started using Shareaza i had used Kazaa and Limewire in the past any how i added a bunch of files to share and noticed that i lost the ability to search those folders with windows search. I have windows 7 Ult i was using the 64 bit version but switched to the 2.6.0.0 32 bit and when i removed all the files from being able to be shared i could search the folders again. I'll do some toying around and see if it's just the 64 or me or what and come back and add a bit more info if i can. it might have been because i had over 26k files shared too.

So yea upon further review if i share files the folders become unsearchable by windows 7. It would be really nice to have it known the you have tat file or are missing one but it also helps a ton if you can search a few thousand folders

You might try to manually adding the folders back to Windows Search Indexing...

I have tried that it seems like there is some strangeness going on when a folder marked as shared by shareaza. I have tried searching a folder before and after it was marked as shared it worked fine before but didn't work after and i have tried to have windows re-index the folders but i get no results when searching for the most general terms. I have a bit of exp with PC's, i have a XP/windows 7 dual boot so i'll see if i have the same issues on XP as i do with windows 7.

That would be nice. The more information we have, the more likely it is for us to be able to fix it quickly.

As far as I've understood, he's talking about his Windows Search not working anymore for files within a folder after that folder has been shared with Shareaza.
