I had debug build installed a but have since gone back to the "production" build.
However, on startup Shareaza still complains that I have an alpha build and the testing period expired.
How do I remove that annoyance?

You can always compile the code yourself

Yes. I used to have lots of problems with installers that "optimized" by not replacing executables that weren't older than what I was installing. Shareaza has a command line switch (-nowarn) for removing the warning, btw.

I believe you must manually delete the Shareaza.exe in Program Files\Shareaza in order to install an older version of Shareaza through the installer.

As to the fact that the last official debug builds are more than 3 (!) months old, I helped myself out:

Seems to me Shareaza is dieing ... there is almost no traffic here on the forums. Is anyone reading the posts? Is anyone still working on it?
