Shareaza over OpenWrt WiFi (Mesh WiFi) (Local WiFi WANs)

Postby hi_tech_guy_18 » 02 Mar 2013 03:17

It be wonderful to take ether a
TP-Link TL-WR1043ND 300Mbps Wireless N Gigabit Cable Router - http://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-TL-WR10 ... 002YETVTQ/
or
TP-Link TL-MR3020 Portable - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00634PLTW/

Or Future 802.11 ac (Gigabit Wi-Fi)
Asus RT-AC66U AC1750 Black Diamond Dual-Band WLAN Router, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Gigabit LAN/WAN, 2x USB
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-RT-AC66U-D ... 008O56HXC/

Plug in a USB Flash Drive into the routers USB port so it can uses it for OpenWRT + Packages storage)
Replace the Firmware with OpenWRT https://openwrt.org/
Compile a Few Customized Server Gnutella, Gnutella2 Packages for OpenWRT so the TP-Links Runs a WiFi Gnutella, Gnutella2 Hub Root Nodes

Then A P2P Mesh Network layer protocol
Forban - http://www.foo.be/forban/
B.A.T.M.A.N - http://www.open-mesh.org/projects/open-mesh/wiki
qaul - http://qaul.net/text_en.html

So the WiFi Finds other TP-Link using OpenWRT + Mesh layer it will use them as a extended WiFi mesh nodes network to other OpenWRT + Mesh boxes

Now if you can get Shareaza (other Gnutella, Gnutella2 Clients) to Talk to the Modified OpenWRT + Mesh Router and use it
- You Wont even need and internet connection or ISP Subscription to share files ever
(Plus END to ISP Throttling - Bandwidth Upload / Download Caps - monitoring - End of 3 or 6 Strikes)

P2P WiFi Mesh Network layer
Once has got stared and gets more dense in populated areas (every home on the Street / City block / uni dorm rooms has one)
- The more capacity and redundancy the overall mesh network has plus more paths the packets data can take adds added security.
- Also if one of the TP-Link using OpenWRT + Mesh leaves the network / switched off the remain TP-Link OpenWRT + Mesh will auto Search out alternatives and auto connect with them
