Very few connections

I used to get hundred of connections and suddenly these have been reduced to not more than four. My connection test is perfect. Grateful for help to resolve this problem.

More connections do not improve your search results or your download speed. The only reason why you see sometimes a lot of connections and sometimes only a handful is because sometimes your computer is selected for network coordination, and sometimes it isn't. In case it is not, you simply connect to other computers doing the net coordination, in case it is, others connect to you.

If I may ask for your help once again:
I do not know how, but I messed up the program and had to uninstall/reinstall Shareaza. In the new installation the Network tab, which is important to me, was replaced by the Chat tab, for which I have no use.
Try as I might, I could not get rid of the Chat tab nor could I install the Network tab.
Additionally, although Gnutella 2 is shown as connected I cannot connect with neighbours.
I hope you can help.
