If nothing else work or you prefer, it is possible to manually connect to Gnutella2 if you are already connected to the eDonkey network.

The steps are easy:

1) Search for "shareaza" in the eDonkey network.

2) After few seconds you will obtain a few results in the search window.

3) Download the file with most sources (probably it will be the install file of Shareaza you have already)

4) Start the download and in the download window wait a few seconds so the source list will grow.

5) A few sources will be Shareaza nodes.

6) Stop the download (you are not interested in the actual file and you need the list of sources that will be erased if the file is downloaded).

7) Move the mouse pointer over one of the Shareaza node listed, and write down its IP and port.

8) Use [CTRL]+[T] and write the IP and the port. Click on "Connect".

9) Wait a few second and use [CTRL]+[F11] to check the connections established.

10) Repeat with another Shareaza node, if needed.

The Shareaza node you will try to connect will reject you 99% of the time, but will give your Shareaza a list of know Shareaza HUBs. In my experience, Shareaza will connect to the Gnutella2 network in a matter of seconds and will populate the HOST list in few minutes.
