The most important page for users of the project is most probably the download page, currently located at http://shareaza.sourceforge.net/?id=download. For security reasons (such as Fakeaza), we strongly recommend downloading Shareaza only from this SourceForge site, and not any 3rd party site, at least until you become an experienced user, aware of some of the reasons to download from other locations (eg. daily debug builds for beta testing).

Please be aware that shareaza*com is NOT the official site of the Open Source project Shareaza any longer. It does NOT host any legitimate Shareaza software. We strongly suggest to avoid that website and let your friends know about this, as the danger is significant.

Support

The Shareaza Forums are hosted at https://sourceforge.net/apps/phpbb/shareaza, where you may get or give more in-depth help and advice. Registration is free.

You can also use Shareaza IRC. Server connection details, links, etc., can be found at the IRC wiki page. You can use the built-in Shareaza IRC client (press F12 in Shareaza to display it) or any other suitable IRC client (eg. Firefox with the ChatZilla add-on).
